White Jade and Citrine Mala

$80.00

is a calming, grounding Nephrite jade that also protects the wearer from negative energies. It brings peace, harmony and luck. White Jade is also wonderful in the decision-making process, as it blocks distractions, allowing for the best results to reveal themselves (which makes it especially useful for children).

Physically, White Jade assists the body to heal itself, helps with bladder and kidney problems, and eases the pain of arthritis and other joint illnesses, especially in the hips. White Jade also helps with fluid retention, high blood pressure and imbalances in blood sugar levels.

Citrine is well known in crystal work as a success and prosperity stone to the point that it is called the “Success Stone.” It is said to promote and manifest success and abundance in all areas, and in many ways. It is particularly used to promote success in business if used in the cash box of a shop, earning it a second nickname, “Merchant’s Stone.” In addition to manifesting abundance, citrine also brings energies of generosity so that the prosperity and success is shared.

This mala can be worn as well as be used for meditation. To use the mala for meditation

Sit comfortably with your your eyes closed. Set your intention and take a few deep breaths to ground yourself.

If you have one, use your mantra for this practice, and begin chanting either silently or out loud. If you do not have a mantra you can simply recite your favorite prayer or a positive affirmation.

Hold your mala in your right hand, draped between your middle and index fingers.

Starting at the citrine druzy pendant, use your thumb to count each smaller bead, pulling it toward you as you recite your mantra. Do this 108 times, traveling around the mala, until you are back at the citrine druzy pendant.

Why 108 Times?

1 stands for God, the universe or your own highest truth; 0 stands for emptiness and humility in spiritual practice; and 8 stands for infinity and timelessness.
